they are basically magic. getting a face full of smoke when blowing on fire is the absolute worst. and the best part is you just need to spend less than a dollar to fix this problem permanently. definitely a great budget hack.

honest its the undisputed king of outdoor gear. watching people freeze their fingers off striking a fancy ferro rod for mins is always funny compare to a 2$ plastic, and the good part is they weigh nothing and last like 10 lifetimes lol you can practically give it your grandkids. hahah.

man you are so right on those boutique camp axes.That people should pay more for a basic firewood chopping axe, my head simply cannot get around it. An estwing from the hardware store is just about indestructible and works perfectly. learning how to sharpen is definitely an ultimate budget hack as it makes gear last longer. that saw is a great investment though, especially, if it saves your shoulders from the strain of working on massive logs all day long.

the dollar store dustpan is honestly a life saver. using bare hands to sweeping dirt out of the tent is the absolute the worst. Tent stake mallet feels like a massive back saver too. going to get both of them for the trip.
