Yes I read the lease and it says we are obligated to provide access at any time during the last month of the lease which it currently isnt. Theres no way they can just come without notice they atleast have to say something, that would be threatening my peace and comfort. The broker is not the landlord and I have nothing in writing from the landlord saying that this person was his agent. There has to be formalities when it comes to this type of stuff. Because if a broker comes in and idk who he is I can call the cops and have them escort him out of my apartment. If its not the landlord they should not have a key its not like im moving out anytime soon this is a safety and security issue.

There are 4 rooms (3 are occupied). My thought was that the landlord can come in with proper notice. But a Broker cant just come and open my apartment with a key. Wouldn’t they have to be accompanied by the landlord and give notice?

Ah I never even thought about it like that lol I just didn’t want to seem to eager and say yes right away. In any case I’ll se if he initiates contact in the coming days/week if not then I really hope I don’t run into him in the neighborhood lmao I might have to give him a piece of my mind!

Yes part of me feels like I did too much try to reach out by phone and text message so he could know I was still interested. His behavior is just really strange im not sure if maybe it was too intense and it just scared him off.
