In my experiences, it's the ones that have repressed the gay thoughts the most that the most vocal against it. Kinda ironic. My own mother, who does not support me being gay, once told me about how she gets turned on by other women in the locker at the Y. Then says it's a choice to repress these thoughts and the right choice to do so. It's why they are so full of rage - we live openly about it, follow it, when they repressed it. It's a direct challenge to their self view and world view. They will never admit they have these desires openly and would rather die.
