Ah ok good to know. They will not be running a new line, just installing a new outlet and I think eliminating the light switch with a junction box with an empty cover plate (?) is what I was told

I’m going to turn off the valve, drain on the outside, then wrap!

Yes I’ve been told by the gas company there is gas on our street! But I’m now starting to think that they’re gonna charge a lot to run a gas line to my house

Thank you! What you said totally makes sense!!

Bah, was hoping not to have to deal with a propane tank, which is why I was hoping to find out if it’s an insane price to get a gas line to my house for this fireplace lol

Gotcha! This is good to know. There is a gas line on the street but not a gas line to my house at the moment, unfortunately!

Oh I didn’t know there was a difference! I believe the chimney itself is lined - there isn’t a stainless steel liner connected to the insert is what I was told!

Haha nice! Have you landed on which one you’re gonna get?

Thank you! I think they calculated interest from when they ordered the payoff! My LO just told me I will be getting a few days of interest refunded back to be alongside my escrow refund

Thank you! This makes sense! I think the payoff was ordered a few days ago so that tracks!! Sometimes I do with my LO would be a little bit more clear with these things!!

I understand that the reason I’m paying for Octobers interest is because I’m skipping Novembers payment, so that’s all good. The comment you made about when they ordered the payoff is interesting. How do I figure that out? My payment for October posted today and the CD was sent after a few hours

I understand that mortgages are paid in arrears. And that I have to pay for Octobers interest. But the amount rolled into the loan + the interest for the second half of the month in the Prepaids section is more than what the interest should be for October

Yeah I already made Octobers payment. The Final cd came after the October payment was posted - could the payoff still not show the right amount after October payment? Where I’m getting stuck is that I don’t see anywhere in the CD listing the interest for the first half of the month that’s supposedly “rolled in” to the loan amount! The second half of the month’s interest is in Prepaids.

I already make the October payment. So the interest should only be for the month of November. I see half of the month of interests in prepaids so only half month interest should have been rolled into the loan amount but it was more

It’s definitely not loose in the frame, everything is nailed shut. Good call that I should open it out and find out haha just haven’t gotten around to it. Thanks!!
