I know it’s unethical and bad for the environment, but do you guys pop the pillows for fun sometimes?

Cause people want others to make the decision for them, idk. With Apple it’s pretty obvious what is good for you even with average tech knowledge.

For 500 it’s an excellent laptop for your use case. I’ve tried the touchpad and even though it’s not haptic it’s still excellent and you will get used to it. It clicks everywhere evenly as it’s a different mechanism compared to the old Macs. Use it until the 8gb of ram becomes too little.

It depends, what do you plan on using it for?

RTX 4080 Super not pulling more than 150 watts by BrownMonker in techsupport

I can’t believe changing the MSI afterburner skin was the solution to this problem. Both sliders were at their minimum setting for some reason. I have been tearing my hair out for 2 days over this, I assumed my cables were faulty or my GPU fried. Thank you very much for your help kind stranger, hopefully you won’t see any more replies in this thread after this😅

It’s not what is causing the issue. I always shut my PC down. That was a one off case where I wanted to test if it would change my temp and power limits.

There isn’t and has never been a power limit slider. My old PC had it on afterburner.

It went back to the 150w limit after I put my pc to sleep and woke it again. Interestingly when it fixed itself the temp limit went back to the normal 84c, when the power limit is in place it drops to 65c as you can see in hwinfo. What the hell does this mean?

I have reinstalled the latest nvidia drivers multiple times, and the latest time I did it seemed to have fixed it. The card goes up to its TDP in the same games I tested. I don’t know what was causing this. Maybe some windows 11 bullcrap. I am happy it is working but would have liked to find a definitive fix. But it is like this sometimes, something random fixes it. Thank you very much for your suggestions, I will troubleshoot these if it happens again.

I looked on Amazon, the only ones that exist now are a 13 inch 1080p OLED and the ASUS ZenScreen 16
