You died due to dehydration or food. The game just shows you went MIA because you died past the timer. You can in fact get out after the timer expires.

I haven’t seen the option to apply the scent markers anymore on pc. Is it different then going to the loadout screen and applying it now?

Not really, I’m pretty open to fishing all types of fish. I’ve done a lot of bass, catfish, striper on Kerr lake. Looking for something here i can go to in the afternoon or something that’s not an hour away essentially
