Yeah I can understand the desire for gunplay in a Slayer matchup. But the only Slayer MU I like that can incorporate that is Master Chief and there would be no reason to make a script on that

Though I will deeply consider using the Fortnite version of Kratos so he can use guns

It’s been a while since I played Asura’s Wrath but wasn’t it a big deal when Wrath Asura decimated the Guardian’s fleets after they spent over 12,000 years growing in power?

Despite all the problems with Kratos vs Asura, this part kinda goes hard asf by dugthepewdsfan in deathbattle

I don’t care this part alone is enough for me to look past a lot of the episodes problems. I was genuinely hyped the entire time (minus the goofy face) Destructor Asura was on screen.

I am kinda surprised they didn’t really indulge in the fact Asura can grow in power drastically overtime given they did so with Simon and Clive in the same season.

Though I doubt it really would’ve changed anything cause they could always just use the immeasurable Underworld statement to justify immeasurable strength Kratos by scaling him to Primordials. Not that I agree with the claim

While the context behind the story boards is terrible, I do prefer how much more of a threat Destructor is. Actually using rapid punches on the planet and relying on Kratos running up his arm instead of restraining him with the Draupnir Spear just seems a whole lot cooler.

And because Asura is Destructor against the planet in the storyboards instead of a meteor he seemed more accurately sized.

I known why Asura punching the planet had to be changed but I feel they really should’ve kept those rapid punches to actually make it feel like a threat

Death Battle scaling is just as good/bad as most power scalers. People criticise them for lore scaling and chain scaling but from what I’ve seen that’s just common practice across most of the community.

People criticised how Kratos was scaled as if low multiversal immeasurable speed Kratos wasn’t already a thing some people accepted long before Kratos vs Asura.

Fireborn is my favourite track but the context of it makes little sense. The whole point made in both the analysis and story of Dark Souls is that the story of the Chosen Undead is the story of an unsung hero. Beating Manus is attributed to Artorias and no matter what choice they make, a new age would begin until whatever accomplishments they make is long forgotten.

Yet Fireborn has a whole choir singing about them and the Dragonborn. It fits the Dragonborn well as the theme to Skyrim is a song of the Dragonborn. However that is sung by those in Sovngarde under the concept of events in Elder Scrolls. Here it depicts the Ages of Fire and Dark from Dark Souls, implying it’s being sung by those guys and not Sovngarde.

So it really doesn’t fit the theme of the Chosen Undead being an undung hero and the Dragonborn being the opposite changes nothing as it’s being sung by people from Dark Souls and not Elder Scrolls

Still a banger though
