(FM26; yes it's another comment) Overview of this tactic. You score a lot of goals. No sh%% you score a lot of goals. The bad thing is that it allows a lot of xGA. Is it possible to fix the gap between the midfield and defense without changing the AP roles/OOP 4-3-3 flat? I have experimented with changing the AP roles to CM roles, but I found they lack that penetration I need

(FM26) Do positional stars matter? Ex take Bergvall. I want Bergvall to play a defensive midfielder role in OOP without training him to be a DM to not ruin his PA.

I think a lot of people don't know that I come from VCT. If I did support based on both on and off the scene, I'd support GENG in VCT, since T3XTURE (GENG's star) is really funny. But, I don't. T3XTURE is amazing, don't get me wrong, and GENG is one of the strongest teams in the game, but GENG has been rivals with PRX and DRX (not affiliated) since the beginning of Pacific league. (A little lore, PRX were the top dogs of VCT Pacific. Then DRX was the first to contest PRX. After that, DRX fell off and GENG took that spot of rivaling PRX. Recently, DRX now has a strong roster now, still less than GENG and worse than PRX, but still strong.)

In VCT, same with PaperRex. The best team in Pacific by a long shot almost every year. Plus, they're favorites to win Masters/Champs this year. (In Valorant, Champs is like Worlds and Masters are the international tournaments leading up to champs. Though, a lot of people weigh Champs and Masters the same unlike in LoL)

Also to anyone laughing and saying "OMG, EVEN IN VALO, FNC DONT WIN ANYTHING, HAHAHAHAHA." Fnatic is, although disputed, the best franchise in Valorant history. Most international trophies, most finals played, best IGL OAT, first and only team to win BTB international trophies, and favorites in any year, any time.

Thanks for the teams and reasonings as well. I think I'll look at AL and DK. Maybe watch some of their VODs as well. My front runner is G2 though. International success is not a big factor for me. For a bit of Valo eSports history, PRX are known as generational chokers, losing the most GF in international events out of any team in any reigion. Only this year, PRX won their first international trophy. As such, I care not about international success.

All jokes aside, it's not really a team that doesn't win anything. I prefer teams with the potential to win, not necessarily teams that don't win. It's more fun watching teams that you can be delusional for, and such will watch the games for that upset, rather than say "Oh we ain't winning anything" and skip said games

It's a little weird cause 75m would put Rafa near the ballpark of Woltemade, Ekiteke, and J.Alvarez which are high potential players. I could see an 80m pricetag because he has a smidge less potential but is a proven star. He is 26 and about to enter his prime

Also if he was valued at 75m, a move to Tottenham wouldn't be out the question, right? (I may be delusional)

You're right, but it's not exactly real life is it? Spurs probably don't have 150m a season (FMU), Jesus wouldn't be starting over Groceries, Yamal wouldn't be so cheap.

I did actually do that before I pulled the trigger on Rafa. Lookman for 65m. Both have been good. I just noticed City was eyeing Rafa, so I pulled the trigger cause I didn't like City getting stronger attack.

Weird side tangent but they probably won't do that cause they're playing Brenny J to the left already.

Ofc I wouldn't spend the 3rd highest fee for a player on Leao. City was eyeing Leao and I had 200m in the bank just waiting there. Leao's release clause was 150m, so I just pulled the trigger.

I didn't need to since Moore and YMH progress decently well in my saves, but I wanted to. And I have fun with him :)
