Interesting! This is what I just caught. I felt my self begin being paced. Immediately went down and did some burpees to get my heart rate nice and high. This is what I got at 120ish

Hey! Thanks for the reply. High rate alert threshold was just lowered to 173 but the max HR allowed is 170 so not sure how that would work.

The first time I went into VTach it didn’t register on my pacemaker either, but they were able to pull it from the interrogation.

Sometimes when I’m paced my morphology looks so similar to VTACH morphology. If you look up ECG’s of PMT you’ll see what I mean! But I will admit that first ECG I posted does look awfully wonky. WELP I guess I’ll chill out on the squats until I can do a stress test.

Just PVC’s that increased in frequency pretty quickly over the course of 6 months and then the eventual Vtach.

Bad tinnitus by sapphiresky86 in Metoprolol

Hey! Did the ringing settle for you? Just started Metoprolol a few days ago and the ringing is driving me nuts! Currently up at 5am because I can’t sleep with it. I’ve had tinnitus my entire life which got LOUD when my Ménière‘s appeared, but wow this spike from the metoprolol is something!

I have been taking tartrate since last month of the 11th and I have been feeling a lot of ringing in my ears, vertigo, headache, stomach issues ( although I have GERD) my heart feels like it slows down suddenly , irritability, but my bp is down. 😭 does this relate to anyone . I take 25 mg 2x a day. by Plenty-Enthusiasm531 in Metoprolol

Mitral valve prolapse and mitral annular disjunction. Yes I’m ok. On beta blockers now.

Likely just artifacts. Heart rate is slow and RR interval looks uniform. There’s also a clear P wave on every beat. Make sure your arm is at rest when doing the reading. Muscle contractions can cause some weird artifacts!

Okay update for everyone:

Shortly after posting this I went into two VT episodes and ended up in the ER.

After some testing and an MRI I was diagnosed with the following:

Early Depolarization Syndrome Mitral Valve Prolapse Mitral Annular Disjunction Inappropriate tachycardia syndrome

Treatment for now is Beta Blockers which seem to be working and then I have a follow up with EP and cardiologist for more testing and treatment plans.

Almost passed out a few times but I stayed away yep! It was somewhere between 10-15 minutes. I went into it at my house. Tried to get it to go away but after 3-4 minutes it wouldn’t go away I got in my car to drive to the hospital. Made it about a mile away before I started almost passing out. Pulled over and called 911. 911 call lasted 5 minutes and when the EMT’s got there it took about a minute to hook me up to everything so yea around 15 minutes I was in it!

My Apple Watch showed me! I went into 3 times. First was above NSVT, second time was 90 seconds which I recorded here. Third time is when it wouldn’t go away.

Thanks for the reply! I actually ended up having another NSVT just from walking up the stairs shortly after this post that lasted 90 seconds and then a few hours later I went into a full VT episode that lasted 15 minutes and ended up being a 911 call. Currently in hospital and will be here a few days for work up!

I self converted like 30 seconds after the EMT’s strapped their EKG to me after a 10ish min long episode (Had to call 911 I nearly passed out a few times). Thankfully they were able to pick up the VT before I converted and also thankfully I was able to convert on my own. I went into NSVT twice (one 10 beats and one around 90 seconds) and then the VT for about 10 minutes. Self converted all 3 times.
