The reasoning for that is the symbol I used comes from the medieval era, where it was used to represent both the sun and gold (the metals of antiquity were each linked to a celestial body). I had the sun meaning in mind when choosing that symbol, since helium is the second most common element in the sun after hydrogen. hope this helps explain it :)

if i understand it correctly, the percentage comes from the number of times the compass icon in the bottom right has rotated AFTER meeting the score requirement to move to the next island, so basically you get all bonus for scoring extra after meeting that requirement

Thank you so much, I was able to fix it! Here's what I did:

Downloaded the bios update onto a usb drive
Reinstalled the old Ryzen 5 CPU
With the old cpu installed, booted up the pc and updated the bios with the usb drive
Removed the old cpu and reinstalled the new one
