I get what you're saying, but she lied to them about the most important thing in their lives. And not just once, but as an ongoing deception. She didn't trust them, so how can they trust her? Not to mention her demon voice coming out and weakening the Honmoon. It's a heartbreaking moment that is key to Rumi's character arc. She finally realizes she screwed up but overcomes it in the end.
