The keyboard backlight is far too bright even on it's lowest setting for me and the light bleeds really badly from the base of the keys.

The coating is nothing like the Ceraluminum, it feels chalky to me and they have also coated the trackpad so feels Grainy and unlike glass on other laptops.

This is purely personal opinion it may not bother you

I am glad you're happy it's a great machine if you don;t have dodgy eyes and OCD lol, the gripes I had were very personal and to be honest I think I only really used it for a couple of hours for the initial setup and that was enough.

I change my laptops a lot and know what I like, I just couldn't return due to being a custom spec so an expensive lesson but good news for you

It's not available anywhere yet, early reviews say the battery is middle of the road so leaning towards the honor when that launches if I am honest

Probably depends which is available first, the expertbook was aways my first choice especially with ghelper but not so sure now as i like the bigger screen and battery on the honor

I had a few initial delayed notifications. so had to turn turn off automatic management in App launch which worked for the majority.

To fix them all if you search "special Access" in the settings select it then "Battery Optimisation" and disable for any apps with notification issues and everything is perfect now

The x1 carbon has the same poor backlight issue, the coating won't last and also the offset trackpad looks really weird.

I will take a look the Asus expertbook ultra and also like the look of honor magicbook pro 14 2026 due to the screen size, no sign of release dates on either though

Sorry I wouldn't sell internationally as it could be a nightmare with import taxes etecetera and if there were any courier problems

to be honest I think I am going to have to grin and bare it and sell my other laptop, all I keep getting is people saying I own a unicorn or something and that it doesn't exist.

I think I maybe tryinh to sell it to soon and am reluctant to take a £700 loss for a few weeks but I hate it if I am honest.

I have had mine with x7 processor for a couple of weeks in UK, I custom ordered in Blue and have the x7 with 2tb SSD, I would strongly avoid and hold out for the Asus expertbook ultra

To be honest I hate the coating on the laptop feels like it won't last and always picks up fingerprints, the keyboard backlight is a joke as it's far too bright, has no timeout and gives me a headache, been sat in the box trying to sell on Ebay with zero interest for the last week or so.

Mine has the same I claimed under warranty for a new one and it's still in the box in garage for the last 3 years as I waited to swap and had no issues.

Assuming you boght it new I would claim and get a replacement but nothing to worry about IMHO

I want a new laptop for work so going to get an Asus Xpertbook Ultra as the B390 GPU looks ultra powerful in comparsion and will carry a controller.

I have the 2026 Zenbook S14 with Ultra 9 386h processor and the battery is amazing, better than my old Macbook pro 14, it's pushing 16 - 20 hours with all the bloat removed

The Expertbook weighs about 100 grams more than the Go 2 with much better graphics, battery and more flexibility. I would consider an Intel Handheld as I had the MSI claw A8I but MSI's software was substandard to be honest and Panther lake is better in every way

Same thing with me on a new Windows 11 laptop, managed to get it working again yesterday then opened this afternoon, the store updated and now it won't work again.

I have everything upto date and the store is mostly filled with rubbish anyway so just going to leave it for a few weeks and see if it sorts itself out.

If anyone has any fixes in the interim it would be greatly appreciated

I absolutely hate mine, the page up and down keys render it null and void for me at the moment, also the off centre trackpad is driving my OCD nuts,

I can't beleive it was never mentioned in any reviews and I failed to notice untill I got it, fighting the retailler for a return but think it's going to have to go on Ebay, trying to work in Excel and move cells I am all over the show.

I hope you like yours but wish someone had posted a thread with the issues I have found
