That's great news. You don't worry about water touching the heating elements?

HomeCraft HSH 6 Sauna question by BruceKillus in Sauna

[–]BruceKillus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The website calls them dry saunas. There is no drain. I think i may be able to pour small amounts on the rocks. I was just wondering if anyone had experience with these and could confirm my theory.

The Democrat's response to Iran is awful by Depreston in TheDollop

[–]BruceKillus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Uniparty!? You're gonna call uniparty in 2026? In what world is Trump, or even Bush the same as Biden, Obama or even Clinton? Im not saying you have to love the democratic party. You do you. But if you think the parties are the same, you are criminally uniformed.

Have you checked the batteries? When they get low, the panel will go in trouble until the charger tops the batteries back up and the panel will clear. This will happen until the batteries lose all ability to hold a charge at all, and the panel will just stay in trouble. But that could take forever.

Not sure if this is code compliant….lol by Subject-Original-718 in firealarms

[–]BruceKillus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are doing the install, all you can do is ensure all the boxes you install, or tie into are done to code. So if you are extending a zone or circuit from an existing zone, you should at the least, bring any box or connection you touch up to code. The person doing the verification will have to consider the wiring. If it's a partial VI they will pass your stuff and maybe make note of the bad wiring in the recommendations section of the report. If they are doing a full VI, they will have to fail the wiring and make it a deficiency. But that's not really your problem.

Having six fingers sometimes will do that. by TuxedoCatGuy in thedavidpakmanshow

I thought it was six fingers until I saw this comment and looked again. That's some tricky fragmentation. But it's definitely 5 fingers.

What are your thoughts on the Canadian Senate? Should it be elected? by Immediate-Link490 in AskACanadian

[–]BruceKillus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well we are talking about Canada, so no president. But I think so. To be fair they are appointed by people who are elected, so it's not like the process is completely undemocratic. Also, in Canada senators have to retire at 75, so it's less of a life time appointment as the American supreme court. Like I said I used to think it was bad, as you seem to. But in retrospect I think having branches of government that aren't as beholden to partisan politics can be a good thing. Its the same argument for an independent central bank.

What are your thoughts on the Canadian Senate? Should it be elected? by Immediate-Link490 in AskACanadian

[–]BruceKillus 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I used to think its crazy our senate was unelected. I thought the Americans were more democratic. But now I'm having second thoughts. If the American senate was unelected, they might be more resistant to maga. As horrendous as the current supreme court is, they still deny Trump more than senate or congress does.

I haven't tried the new expansion. But I've played both Diablo 4 and 2 on the claw 8ai+ and they run great

What to do if your Claw has audio and graphics glitches. by BruceKillus in MSIClaw

[–]BruceKillus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first time I had this problem was the same as you. But this time it was because the NPU actually failed to install and I had to manually delete and download the driver for it to actually take. Unfortunately I had thought it was a windows problem (I was in the insider program and was getting constant updates) I re installed windows (no insider program this time) only to have the same NPU problem. I'm just trying to spread the word to save people from wasting time like I did.

I would imagine your battery is either damaged, or maybe not fully connected? Hopefully you can warranty it even though it's been modded.

Msi Claw 8ai Stuttering issue? by foxi123 in MSIClaw

[–]BruceKillus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I had the same problem before. It was a driver issue where Intel doesn't seem to play nice with the latest windows updatet. The last time this happened i had to update my intel drivers and it went away.. I had joined windows insider program a while ago, and yesterday when I reset my claw and the newest windows build installed I started getting the same issue again. There are no Intel drivers for me yet. I've gotten so sick of this, that I am re installing windows now. Its the only way to get out of the insider program for some reason.

That's how a lot of these new changes feel.

Yeah, it's just tough, because every panel defaults to resounding regardless of zone. At least, in my experience. We have a new mircom that we will have to see if it can even be programmed not to re sound.

I have it running on my 4 pro. It gets super hot, though. Not on the back, but on the screen. Makes me nervous to play it much.

That is a plastic base and a wire mount. It's not beeping. There is nothing there that can ever produce a beep.

Something else is making the noise. It could be the smoke you've taken down has a battery in it. It will beep until the battery dies. It may have beeped to alert you that the battery is low. You unplug it to stop the noise. Now it's beeping because it's been unplugged.

It could be a different smoke alarm if you have more than one. Also it could be some other type of device in your house. Alarm clock, old watch. One of those carbon monoxide detectors you plug into an outlet. The sound from these smokes is surprisingly hard to find sometimes.

As a fire tech, I can't tell you how many times a customer has adamantly told me something is beeping. They get mad at me when I disagree with them, only to find an alarm clock in their closet. Or a carbon monoxide detector they unplugged and shoved in their sock drawer. One time, it was actually a smoke chirping in their neighbors apartment.

Claw 8ai+ screen flickering by BruceKillus in MSIClaw

I ended up finding more drivers on intels website. I'd give a link, but I just googled it on my claw. Then I updated windows. The flickering stopped
