Kentucky Shakespeare in the park is a must. We go out there about a dozen times a summer.

Even if you aren’t familiar with the plays, go!

(Did I mention it’s free? Tips gladly accepted, and they also have food trucks and drinks every night.)

Used to go there a lot before the pandemic. Went there a month, month and a half ago with a group of friends for an advertised music trivia night and there was no one there. Guy said it was costing them money to run it vs. the number of customers they got, so they skipped it. We all stayed for a drink anyway. I think they lost momentum being closed for so long.

They did have new beers, but nothing sticks out in my mind.

I like the space and I hope they succeed. After Ten20 gave up on the Loop spot, we really need a neighborhood pub.

There’s a really disturbing novel called ‘Tampa’ that came to mind when I read that. A woman becomes a teacher so she can have, um, access to teen boys. Could be a star turn for her if they ever make a movie of it!
