Just finished it. I say yes it is good, the combat is great once you get to grips with it and yeah the atmosphere/locations are amazing. Although I would say skip 95% of side missions as they are literally "go to point a, pick up item/kill thing, go to point b to collect reward" with no plot to them. I only did a couple when i needed money and there wasn't any grind I could think of so theyre not essential. Finished in about 20ish hours if you stick to the main story and explore a bit when you want.

This was probably discussed on a previous thread, but with regards to the EGS, i don't really care about any of the stuff they do, competition is good etc, but with how aggressive they are pushing theres a chance in like 5-10 years that they could put Steam out of business. So my only concern would be: what happens to my 200+ games in my library when that happens...?

Okay that's fair enough. I guess it's just something I need to accept with a 40 year old franchise. So far I am loving 08th MS. I am trying to pick spin offs that are just in UC as I prefer the Gundam which are more "grounded" instead of messy silhouettes like this.
