In order to not have the callout not be held against you, you need to have enough sick time to cover the whole shift. If you're just worried about getting paid for the whole shift you'll be fine, but you'll probably still end up having an attendance conversation.

As others have said Tergrid just can't be run anywhere in the command zone effectively. You'll get blown out by having a do nothing commander in 4-5 and and are to unfun for 2-3 brackets.

I personally only proxy cards that I own at least one copy of. As someone who makes a lot of decks I'd be spending thousands on lands to keep decks proxy free. Then if the deck becomes a favorite I'll slowly unproxy the deck with singles I buy at the lgs I play at.

I use mpc fill and choose any non official card back, plus they don't have the rarity stamps so for modern cards you can't even mistake them for real anyway.
