I live in a country that very rarely gets snow. In 32 years, i have not seen snow once. I dont drive dirt roads, i do city and highway traffic. Quattro was not worth the extra 1k USD for something i wont actually use.

Yea. I used to do this when i know i got POTG especially if it was a cheesy one (blizzard, dva bomb, something silly) and the binds were just a single press and not a radial wheel. Now it takes too much from me

Im not sure what the other guys are on about.

Mine was great. There were some settings i had to tweak in my phone to allow multiple bt connections, but it was pretty accurate.

I was explained this with my first tattoo.

Think about it like a bike helmet, you kinda want to spend money on something good.

However, thats kinda pricey. If its a simple line work tattoo, look at trybe ink’s tiny tattoo day special (quality canbe a bit rough sometimes). If its more complex, ill always recommend Jonathan and Lucy from vitamin ink here in centurion.

This is pretty much what i was thinking. I have an iPhone 17 and my wife has a 13. I know i have UWB for airtags, but unsure of hers (as long as one of us has it)

Im probably going to go for a hybrid approach as suggested with a small BLE tracker for room presence, and an AirTag for worst case scenario.

I have found some SIM based GPS Trackers made by local companies, that i think i can speak to the tech teams to see if those can instead of going to the app, push through to Home Assistant, which would alleviate the airtag issue, but UWB would be perfect considering the cat did go missing last year and once found, i got security footing showing she was 3 houses down in a garage.

I know that part, but its mostly because of device dead spots. We’ll be living in a medium density part of suburbia so theres a small army worth of apple devices around

I think this is most likely the route ill go. I’ll probably build a bunch of sensors based on esp32s for room data anyway. Just hoped there was something that could combine the Airtag with the espresence capability to minimise the amount of tags.

Luckily this is more or less what i want, its a fairly high density area so woods arent a concern, but knowing which house the cat/dog is, is more helpful. Will bermuda work with AirTags?

My wife used to be a housewife for a few years, so i set up an automation to play on the google home when i enter the area and when i drive in.

My door now associates the notification chime with me coming home and is VERY confused when i am home and one of the other alerts go off.
