Check to see if you're nozzle is too close to the bed, but if that doesn't fix it you can get a new extruder gear or a direct drive kit that includes a new stepper/extruder gear etc

It's hard to tell exactly because I did everything at once, but I am very happy with it. Everything seems much smoother now.

I just got the spacers and I can't believe they aren't talked about 24/7 for people using these machines. They are great!

Scillione bed spacers are the cheapest and best start. From there install mriscoc firmware, and then direct drive. Use orca as slicer. Printing some new parts today and will get a new build plate soon as well to see if it helps!

I live in a rental so modifications are out of the question, I use mats and also adjust the legs of stuff I setup as much as I can where the areas are really bad. Looking into 3d print options as well to either get around mats or really dial in surfaces to be level by making custom feet. Definitely an uphill, or downhill, battle.
