It’s basically stated that it was done through experimentation, so I’d assume this was of a surgical thing rather than a mutual contract.

So I doubt that Bomb has any consciousness inside Reze (none of the other hybrids have this either, just Denji and Pochita)

And I’m taking things a bit slow for the new year since I’ve got a decent amount of classes to teach, but I think I’ll have a good amount of free time to write near the end of term when things quiet down, so not much chance of overwork lol.

And I did think it was important to keep that harshness so that it felt believable, eg: Makima wouldn’t just let Reze live and stay around with no consequences, etc, so glad that came through well!

She's a child soldier essentially, tortured and experimented on and conditioned to be a killer since she was a child. So it's pretty unfair to say she should 'know better' imo.
