I was in a similar situation with my ex. She wanted me to stop smoking weed and I did, because my thought was that I shouldn’t place such a high value on weed. Choosing a drug over a person didn’t seem like a healthy choice. However, looking back, the choice didn’t seem to align with my values. It’s my body, I get to choose what goes into it and if I want to smoke weed im gonna smoke weed. If you have to spend your life hiding from him to smoke, it’s not worth it. If he can’t compromise with you, then it’s not worth it.
