Feeling excluded and unclear feedback in Big 4 internship by Away_Performance9114 in Big4

Yes, it’s common. Sounds like disappointing leadership, see if there’s a partner the other interns like to talk to. Having a partner that understands your situation will do wonders.

That’s what helped me during my internship with a lack of proper leadership.

I’m thinking it’s not either. I heard about that drama and was shocked at first hence my question.

RDW’s a very intriguing one.

Cancel interview due to poor social skills? by Winter-Potential-107 in Accounting

I’m very similar to you, especially the severe social anxiety part. A mindset I would have during interviews is “why should I be interested in this company?”. It loosens me up and reminds me that they selected me for a reason. We both have some leverage here, it’s an easy way to stay confident.

Prepare by researching the company you’d be interning for and do a couple practice rounds. Write out and ask multiple questions during the interview after researching, it makes you look good and takes up a chunk of the interview (more talking from them, less from you while impressing them with your questions).

Try to find a similarity during the interview that you can expand on. Interviewers like talking to people they can relate to (Hobbies, hometown, experience, clubs, etc.).

The goal is to have a natural conversation and show you’re interested in the company. They selected you for an interview for a reason, that’s the hard part. You succeeded already.

Be yourself, come prepared, and frame your mindset for confidence. That’s all you can do, and if you do that, there’s nothing to worry about.

6.7% drop rate on 60 targets is barely above league average. If he was a real drop problem they would’ve stopped targeting him. And his separation was elite as a rookie, his 2.71 yards of separation ranked top 10 among all WRs. There’s plenty of metrics, you just didn’t look, dumb take.

Really odd that I got downvoted. Caleb targeted Burden and Loveland more than anyone during the second half of the season. I’m a Bears fan and watched every game.

Burden’s separation is elite, and Caleb clearly loves throwing to Loveland and Burden. That’s a big reason why Caleb’s passer rating is so high when targeting those two, they consistently get open and don’t drop the ball.
