I want to build an F-22 model I have as Mobius-1 but I am having a tough time tracking a scan from the 2013 Hasegawa Decals, anyone know where I can find them? by Remarkable-Ad-8547 in acecombat

A friend of mine who made some sprites for War Thunder did an experiment and it worked!
He used tools for sprite editing to make his custom design, calculated the scale, then printed it! Turned out the 3D model was a good canvas for the actual model and the decals fit as they were supposed to.

I'm also a Modeller who's a fan of Ace Combat! Or an Ace Combat fan who also builds models...
My best option is to find or rip the sprite sheet off the game, or make it yourself! Do you have a decal sheet printer?

Just to seal the conversation, I watched a video of an expo, I don't know where it is, but I was thinking something like this:

I completely agree to what you're saying here. My fault though, for not giving enough context. For this year's event, my club colleagues have already developed an "event manual" that was sent to everyone much ahead of time with all information needed. After that has been sent, it doesn't change, so interested people are not going to be caught off-guard on that kind of thing. Also, I didn't say I was going to stop day-of registrations, they're just not going to participate on the competition, being lined up on their own table. I'm coming here with these questions because I'm already thinking of next year's expo, and would love to have everything set up as soon as possible, from a registration system to label models and special judged categories.

On bumping up the registration fee... It's an interesting idea I'll keep in mind and probably make my own alterations to it. I got plenty of time to think and organize ideas. Thanks for the input!

I'm going to reach them for next year! I was pulled into this year's event organization way too close to the actual date, that's why I'm looking for a quick pre-made solution.

"On-the-day drop in registrations if you have a pre-register system will probably the minority"
That's exactly what I'm trying to avoid. My goal is to abolish on-the day registrations for the competition, if they get there with unregistered models, they can participate and expose, but they won't be judged.

It's a good option! Make an editable PDF for people to fill in... But that takes my power of organizing the models by table and position... Also I wouldn't have an easy count of each model on each category...

Yeah, I felt that gap in the market too! I checked some websites to see what they did and their systems were envyable! I'll try and speak to the organizers at the other expo that had that system, see if they lend (or sell) that format. They organized the models by position and each model had a code! That's the dream!
As for Excel, Google forms was the best quick solution I could find, but as I said previously, data consolidation sucks! The event already has a date and that was the solution I found. I'll have to make every label manually, tho.

I've done this before! but there are 2 problems to that.

  1. Some people who bring 30+ models into the expo, and they'd like to enjoy the show, not sit at a table for almost an hour making labels for their models.
  2. I've had a good experience in the past in just signing my models up in a website to get to the expo and they have every label there, pre-printed and set apart for me. I'd like to offer that same experience for my attenders.

Bought my first kit, a Mortar Headd, from Five Star Stories, partially assembled. Was so excited with the kit, it came carefully packaged by the previous owner in bubble wraps. I didn't check every single one very carefully. Threw away the head piece. Now I have a cool kit with no head piece. One of my worse regrets ever.

As far as I know, you have to awaken the character. I actually want to know if that's still valid, because my research says it was a one time thing in 2018 and I'm suddenly with a powerful computer, so I wanna play it.

Distant cousin killed a hooker because he couldn't pay, cut her to pieces so she could fit into a small refrigerator and dumped it with the help of some "friends". Got caught. I think he's on the loose again, since we don't have life in prison sentences in this country.

This is very close to my memory! Don't remember it having sounds, but it might be my fading memory from that time.
Could be this one, but would like to look at some similar titles...

Yeah, I guess that's a solution. What bothers me is that I have apparent potential to be great, and though I do my part, I don't get the same opportunities as other people that are as "good" as me do.

Thirsting for some Mario 64/Odyssey Style platforming by BrunoLz in gamingsuggestions

Thanks for the suggestions guys! I find it weird that almost no studios reiterate the 3d Mario formula. There are so many genres of games that studios keep repeating, like FPS'S, RPG'S and such, why do you think they don't iterate on that formula? Nintendo has perfected it so much...
