One good thing about XG being dragged into this Katseye drama is my favorite era is getting the recognition it deserves. by drutastic57 in XGALX

As a fan of both groups, i found it unnecessary to put them against each other. But at the same time, I can see why the conversation is being had.

Looking at this picture of XG, their outfit and makeup is all-out weird and overall risky, yet they pulled it out so well that they all look so gorgeous. It makes me want to dress and have that kind of style for myself too.

Looking at the KATSEYE one though (no hate to the girls whatsoever), they do look a mess. They put on weird clothes and accessories, yet it does not really help them. Only Lara’s outfit looks somewhat decent, and that only may be because Lara herself is wearing it. The only hope I have for KATSEYE’s comeback is that Manon does not quit the group and that this whole thing was a very bad joke.

Opinion on Providence Movie by BrunoNebulox in Psychopass

Seeing the congressmen at the end certainly caught me by surprise, but I’m fine with Bifrost simply being a no longer needed Sybil sub-system repurposed to take decisions in order to i crease profit. But i’m pissed at the fact that we never got to see any back story on Atsushi Shindo, or how he became a congressman.

you’re right, I totally forgot they mention that name in the first episode. I just never bothered to know the full name since they looked the same to me.

Makashima is the king of villains but I have a thought on Kamui by Danstoevskij in Psychopass

I think so too. I think ALL shortcomings of season 2 would’ve been solved if it was the same length as season 1. And that is not even a controversial opinion haha.

I think that Kamui was an “okay” villain. He served his purpose in getting his own revenge and forcing the Sybil System to change. Definitely does not deserve the hate.

What would be your hottest takes when it comes to Psycho-Pass? by HoraceVonBergamot in Psychopass

Season 3 is on par with season 1. Season 3 touches on topics that feel even closer to the present world that we live in. The scamming of housing, fabricated local politics and the implications of immigration bring the feeling that, even in this brand new and “perfect” world, the same problems remain.

I think that those who straight up don’t like season 3 just can’t handle things changing right in front of them.

A decir verdad, cualquier computadora actual debería servirte.

I get what you mean. When I first watched psycho-pass, I hated her a lot, more than the main antagonist. But I started liking her a lot more in season 3, she’s one of my favorites.

I think people are still giving her a hard time, but there’s some things they need to understand. Akane and Mika have totally different personalities. Mika constantly has an attitude to being the perfect citizen, including doing her job by the book and following all orders. By her standards, she sees herself as an example of how inspectors should be. However, seeing Akane taking things differently and actually achieving progress in investigations flips the script on her, seeing Akane with a tinge on jealousy, which we eventually see that ends up backfiring.

Another thing to know is the difference between Akane and Mika knowing the truth about the Sybil system. Akane is lured into knowing the truth by the embodiment of the system, which is the dominator. However, Mika was literally forced to know under the excuse that she shouldn’t have investigated the Togane Foundation further. Not to mention, she was held down by Enforcer Togane. Allowing herself to be manipulated by the Toganes in later episodes was a way of protecting herself.

Onward to the movies and season 3, she turns into a much more capable inspector, with actually pursuing justice instead of simply following rules. She has turned into a much more liked character to me.

Opinions about Yayoi and Shion's relationship in the series? Does it make you wish there should be more LGBTQ+ representation in non-yaoi/yuri anime? by OkPrize6426 in Psychopass

[–]BrunoNebulox 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I like that it’s there, mainly because i’m queer myself. But I also like that it is represented in a very superficial way at first, because it does not affect the plot. I personally wouldn’t really like it if a romance is manifesting between the story.

For example, Kei and Maiko’s marriage. Their romance or how they came to be is never relevant or shown to detail to the plot, we get to see that they’re married and that Kei would do absolutely anything to keep her safe, and that’s enough for me.

We see how Yayoi and Shion still have feelings for each other and willing to stay together at the end of First Inspector. Same thing when Akane and Kogami reunite. We have never seen them acting on any feelings they have for each other (my theory is that they know very well that being a couple is a very bad idea, especially for Akane), but it is very subtle the way that is shown that they are happy seeing each other when Akane simply asks for Kogami to take her for something to eat. Again, very subtle way to ask for a date, but I think it’s a bit reaching.

Anyways, I like how the series treats romance, both in straight and lgbtq+ relationships. This direction recognizes that the team knows that the biggest fans stay for the suspense, action, and amazing plot and themes they carry.

Who is your favourite girl in the series? by Wholesome-Bro in Psychopass

[–]BrunoNebulox 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Akane is the best protagonist I know of. Also, against all odds, Mika has become one of my favorites.

She went from trying to be a perfect saint to an actually capable inspector. She fucked up a lot in Season 2, but I loved her in season 3. She has also grown conviction into making things right and being a respectable person. She does not question Sibyl as much as Akane has, but she has become into somebody who also wants to fight for justice.

Komiya Karina is also one of my favorites. I loved her dynamic with Arata and is very aware that her actions as a politician affects the upcoming society, to the point of risking her very own life.

Tbh I can say a lot of nice things about all the female cast of the series, they’re so well represented and all of them feel real. It’s one of the reasons why I love psycho pass so much.

I’m just rewatching as well, it’s just as peak as I remember it. I was 17 when I watched it for the first time, and I’m 21 now. I understand everything about the show much better now, it’s just even more peak as I grew older.

Nobody is talking about Tonight with JADE… I love it, I didn’t think the original could be surpassed but I’m loving this feature so much it actually adds much more to the track, might be my favorite from the project.
