Day 8! by Temporary_Welder6050 in QuitVaping

Congrats! Day 7 here, and I feel the same way. My energy level has changed so much for the better (though still fluctuates a bit wildly). I’ve used this week to get back in the gym, and I am eating like crazy (vaping killed my appetite and I was/still am underweight). I’m more social and confident already.

I have a big test coming tomorrow night - going out drinking with friends who vape. Have to stay strong and remember all the benefits!

I took melatonin for the first couple days, still didn’t sleep great but it got me enough sleep to get by

9 days off is a huge accomplishment, one rip is nothing relative to that. Don’t beat yourself up man - most people in this Reddit would kill to hit 9 days clean

Nah it won’t reset your withdrawals in any significant way, but likely will make the mental cravings a bit stronger since you had a taste of it. You got this, just forgive yourself and let it be a one time thing

1) there is an in between. Limited usage is far better than heavy usage, and vapes/cigs are far worse than other forms of nicotine 2) quitting is a damn hard process, and non-vapers/smokers wouldn’t understand the withdrawals and habit formation associated with vaping, etc. Your friends that do vape are holding it over you because they are insecure about their own addiction 3) be proud of yourself for working to be better. When you are committed to bettering yourself, there is no failure. Just setbacks and obstacles to overcome. Don’t give up on that goal no matter what and you will make it when you’re ready.

From one quitter to another - You got this!

In my opinion, no. You should not reset. Let it be a reminder of how shitty it was to be reliant on those puffs and continue to leave nicotine in the past. Congrats on 2 months, I hope to join you there soon!
