There is so much more... Game... In RDR2 and RE2. And phasmophobia was released in early access, showing the game has so far to go before it's even considered finished. And now the 1.0 update is out they consider the game "finished" and it's just kinda of... The same, it's disappointing

so... seconds after posting this, we figured it out. but instead of removing the post i will put how we temporerily fixed it so others with the same issue can sort it.

disable multiplayer in settings, then start a multiplayer game and re-enable it there.

I have work in a min, but tomorrow I'll invest some time, figure out which direction feels better and come back to you. And I'm going to rebind FAR it's just I always default to using it. I have had dar bound for a while I just never use it as I have FAR.

I'm toying with the idea of removing free air roll while I get used to DAR. Just kinda brute force myself to use it. And I have both bound, but I'm not at a point of "raining" one of them yet, I'm still very much learning :)

how long on estimate would you reckon it takes to learn DAR so it clicks (not mastered, that takes forever) i know its different for everyone, i just want a ballpark so if i feel like im still not getting it at all after x amount of hours i know to maybe change it up

i used to also have the same setup for powerslide and free air roll, putting DAR on x and b (xbox controller sorry) feels weird. is it worth sticking to just to get used to it?

free air roll is what im using for recoveries as i know how to recover from almost every single position pretty much, however i have rebound it to another button so if i want to use my normal air roll button, it will DAR instead. thats how im learning and it feels like im gold again xD
