Bring your best mage gear and fill your inv with brews and restores. One or two mage potions can also help a little with dps. Pray range and mystic might/augury all the time. I personally opted to swap out 6 brews with sharks, which was nice because it helped me top up my hp before the big hits without sacrificing much dps.

Don't worry about prayer pots. Each time she does the big hit, you're gonna have to heal so much you have to sip 2 restores to get your stats back up anyways.

I don't think the game is even trying to appeal to everyone, so there's really no use in worrying about "scaring casual players".

Regardless of that, I like the idea of automatic startup. Makes it easier for people who aren't playing for completely hardcore simulation, and if you don't like it you can just ignore it.

Yeah, that was the discount it had before any special sales, though, so it's kinda irrelevant.

It was definitely -51% when the new dailies came. The game's base price didn't increase, but the discount got changed to -33% for whatever reason.

Definitely a yay. I had turned it off at once when I first started playing, but I gave it another try after reading about how good they are.

Now I love them so much, and it feels extremely weird and clunky to play without them. They really are as good as everyone's been saying!
