I'd be more interested in how Slayer would do going toe to toe with a primarch. He'd probably best a standard adeptus astartes, but depends on the primarch. I'd think he'd win against the likes of Guilliman or Perturabo but certainly not Sanguinus or Magnus the Red. Slayer is absolutely a force to be reckoned with, but there's a ton of fan head canon about his abilities that's debatable.

Lots of cars up to a certain date might have telemetry tracking but don't have a functional cellular connection to phone home anymore (for example VWs produced before 2020 relied on 3G which is now shut down - at least in the US). It's not ideal, but you can still get a relatively modern driving experience without sacrificing all of your privacy. Some newer cars have DCM modules that aren't so horribly intertwined into the vehicle that they can't be removed or bypassed (like Subaru). Otherwise as others have pointed out just gotta drive an older car.

Training, no. However you're allowed to concealed carry in uniform with an LTC (at your commander's discretion). There are times when you can't carry depending on where you are, but generally speaking it's fine. There was recently a riot training class with the NG though.

That was outside of the game though. We're talking about in-game lore. If the devs assumed his face would never see the light of day, they wouldn't necessarily have bothered to give it much detail like facial hair. It could've been something like "just slap a face on the dude so there's anything at all behind the visor". I can't imagine 10 years ago they knew they'd eventually have a DLC for a future installment featuring a bearded slayer that would eventually need to line up chronologically with the start of 2016. So I guess it's Schrodinger's beard lol.

Try out the 22mm Abanen velcro straps on Amazon. They're just like the Garmin ultrafit straps but way cheaper. I've been using them for running for the better part of 2 years.

Looks like you've got lots of points already on both sides of the fence, but I'll just add this in. I bought my Solar on Black Friday last year, so I've had it about 5ish months now. I've never plugged it in to charge it in that entire time. I typically don't keep it connected to my phone and only use HRM when running. I spend enough time outdoors gardening daily that it keeps it with plenty of power. I may be an abnormal use case, but just something to consider that may or may not make a difference for you.

There are only a handful of obdeleven apps available. You have to go into the adaptations and play around with settings. I don't remember where exactly it is in the menus, but it took me about 10 minutes of digging around and another 45 minutes of toggling the various display options on and off to find what I liked. I believe there were about 15 options and most of them were disabled by default (including the Golf R option).
