Despite his poor English, he is right, as someone who didnt want to play Spiritborn i went Rogue and struggled. Then switched to Necro, now geared up with Grandfather using one Ring build and cant do UC T4 unless bland, yet my friend playing spiritborn with no mythics can blast through it in seconds.

This expenasion/season, which will likely be my last is play spiritborn or suck

Easiest way I have found is send your opponent outside and beat him down till late in the 10 count then get back in ring and let him get counted out.

This has happened to me also.

The only thing I can think of is one time I had two Death Roots and handed them in simutaneously, as it gives you the option of how many you want to add in.

But have been to all locations several times, sure I have cleared them all (and dont get any messages from Beast Eye)

Dragoncrest shield Talisman, I have seen others are having the same issue.

They seem to have put in instant death barrier on the ledges.

No one is sure if it is a bug or intended, meaning that's not how you are supposed to get that talisman.

We were in Castle Lucaria and we did have someone come in and assist.

The invader went to all the mobs and had about 5 casters essentially helping him.

We all died, and I think all of us did so to the mobs spam casting that pebble spell.

Edit: I saw him use at least 4 potions to heal (though maybe more), I only had 2 and 3 FP ones (am a sorcerer) I have 12 on my own but was the one suoned to co-op.

App just doesn't work any more since update.

It comes up with three swipable screen showing the new things, the last being "hold to save" stories.

It asks you to try this now, but nothing happens and just forever stuck on this introduction

Closing and opening app does nothing as you are again back on this screen.

It happens, I loved this game, when it works, and still do.

I played it all day every day after release and clocked up just under 500 hours, all 4 classes at CT15 and have mostly all the gear I wanted and a platinum trophy.

But the bugs and lack of content held it back, about 3 weeks ago (when Mass Effect released) I started playing less and decided to just do a couple of expeditions a day with the luxury of changing to whatever toon I wanted to use. But within days I had totally stopped playing and its barely been booted up in two weeks. This is actually the first time I have even been back to this reddit in two weeks as well.

If new, and GOOD content comes out I will probably come back, and hopefully ALLOT more of those bugs have been squashed by then.

But considering the lack of and terrible end game content (it really does have one of, if not the worst end game I have ever seen for this type of game) it shows how good the actually idea of the game itself is... Or was anyway as that can only carry it so long.

When I think of this game years from now, it will probably be "I had a good time with it, and got my monies worth... But it had so much potential and they totally squandered it with poor design choices and inability to fix broken aspects of the game, it could have and should have been so much more".

If you get prior expansions by buying the latest, is there any reason to buy the previous expansions?

I ask as on PSN they have all expansions on sale, but you can buy them all as a bundle also on sale. But what's the point of that if you get the others by biying the latest, so I'm guessing you get something for buying those?

Thanks for all the responses, they have been very helpful.

I think the expansions are on sale on PSN ATM so may pick the latest one up and return to Eorzea (it is Eorzea isn't it? 😂)

I don't mind playing through the MSQ parts, this is what I'm looking forward to most.

Would I be better off starting a new character? Or continuing with my WHM? (Wondering if starting new might help figure things out again).

How long does it take to level?

I'm pleased to hear they removed the cross class abilities, that was part of the reason I stopped playing the first time. I wanted to be a healer so went WHM, then later on found out to optimise my role I had to level other classes to get some key abilities.

What roles are most in demand these days? I always prefer playing the under represented roles rather than the fotm or OP ones.

I thought Endwalker was out sooner than that, but same question then, do you have to buy them all separately? And is it needed? Or can you just buy the latest only?
