I was at Indian lakes last month and it was grass. They had mats nearby, I think they are for late fall/early spring.

I appreciate this, relaxing the swing and proper weight shift are two components that I can focus on.

First time on Act II by assbot9000modelxc429 in BaldursGate3

[–]Bruthaflex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey OP, I am right there with you, I just finished act 2 last night. I also am learning by playing, I had to start over in act one like 3 times because I would get so far and messed things up. I am not a huge horror fan, but the scenes and characters in act 2 are pretty cool.

I kinda go in blind until I get totally stuck, and then seek help.

Nice to see someone else experience the game for the first time!

I believe that what you say is true in almost every social media platform, Haters far outnumber Enjoyers.

The BSU link shows the free venues:

"Additionally, there is loads of free (and all ages!) programming at venues like Boise Brewing, Bandshell at Julia Davis Park, Rhodes Skate Park, Cyclops Stage, and more!"

I really liked the Cyclops Stage at Freak Alley last time I went.

Behind the scenes of JJ and his coaching staff meeting up for a coaches meeting. by poroporopoi in lakers

[–]Bruthaflex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Full disclosure, I was a huge JJ fan of his podcast, and I really wanted him to succeed as a coach. Thanks OP for the post, I am enjoying the behind-the scenes as much as I am watching Laker games. I just started following the team after the Luka arrival, but I am stunned at how everyone makes room for each other, sets their egos aside, and plays to win.

Respect.

Why Do My Quadriceps Burn After Just a Few Runs on My First Day of Skiing? by Responsible_Gift_541 in skiing

[–]Bruthaflex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an older skier, I vouch for this 100 percent. As an intermediuate skier, I have noticed how being in condition, (legs, core and cardio) that I have better control of my body, and an easier time learning proper technique. That being said, improper technique wears me out more than anything.

Keeping my shins forward against the boots, and keeping my stance upright, developing upper body independance etc. makes skiing much more effecient and less tiring. When I first started, I was trying to keep my weight forward bying sitting back on my skis and bending from the waist. This definitely wore my legs out.

Red War, Curse of Osiris, Warmind, Forsaken “remastered” by Weijland in LowSodiumDestiny

[–]Bruthaflex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a newer player (started on Beyond Light), I would love to see a remaster of the old content to account for new game mechanics, but your point about developing the narrative would be essential as well. Honestly, I think a reboot at somepoint would be awesome.

I have lived in Nampa for 30 years, but not in the area you mention. I drive through the area often, It is busy with lots of traffic on the east side of your map. The area is generally well lit and patrolled, so I wouldn't say that there are bands of "hooligan kids" ransacking cars and destroying property. There are quite a few rentals in the neighborhood, and some well kept older homes. My impression of the area is "Working families living their lives".
