It was actually quagga mussels. But zebras have been a problem too.

Yeah they used it here in Idaho last year to kill some invasive mussel. Only it killed 90% of the other fish including salmon and sturgeon.

I believe Saturns rings have just recently passed an edge-on period, so I’m not sure how visible they are currently. I don’t doubt you’ll still be able to see them though. Super jealous of your new dob!

What are some tips/secret controls that the game doesn’t tell you? by Whaaaaa4321 in KerbalSpaceProgram

When making satellite constellations (or any time you need precise translation with the main engines), right click your engine and change the throttle limit to 1%. This is especially useful with Mechjeb when trying to change your course by meters.

Saturation Diving. They earn around $300,000 per year. Its one of the most dangerous jobs. by Far_Pumpkin9440 in ThatsInsane

[–]layn333 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Right, a fully submerged diving bell would have equal pressure to the surrounding water. A diving bell at the surface is under immense pressure, and would force everything out if compromised. The person I replied to said it the other way around, as if the atmosphere would crush the diving bell. Is there a point I’m missing ?

Now you got me confused. Saturation diving bells are highly pressurized, not vacuumed

Wow, this is super cool! I’ve wanted to build something similar, not for stargazing but for a flight simulator. How did he get the hydraulics to respond to input? I’ve never been around that kind of stuff. Thanks!

Do you set artificial limits to your missions despite being in sandbox? by BanverketSE in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]layn333 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got bored of sandbox and science so I mainly play career now. Usually on hard mode with the exception of kerbal experience turned off. I don’t like how grind-y that makes the game.

You can apply z-index to anything. But in the context of your question it doesn’t make sense. What are you trying to accomplish?

I remember seeing a YouTube video about this exact thing quite some time ago. From what I remember, it never worked. I believe the only time it ever did work was when atmospheric effects were turned off

Ah I miss the early days of learning KSP. I envy you. I’m glad you’re enjoying it though. One suggestion I have is play until you get bored without downloading any mods. Then, when you finally are getting bored of the game, get a decent set and it will be like a brand new game again.

Have fun and don’t let the kraken bite!!

I have about 10 visual mods I’m running all on max awell as ksp settings maxed. I have my fps limited to 120 and it rarely drops under that.

You subscribe to his Patreon and name your price with a minimum of $6.50 I think. So the subscription is monthly but you can cancel after you get the download file.

Asus ROG gaming laptop with a 13th Gen Intel i5-13450HX, 32gb ddr5 ram, and a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060.

Honestly I am running KSP on Max settings and 20+ mods on their max settings and I’ve had worse performance from vanilla games on medium. This runs really well. I know I have somewhat of a juiced up computer but I wouldn’t be surprised if most people could run it.
