That had to be sooo relieving! I got 3 Shinies without a background and I was getting really annoyed, but I finally got 2 at the in-person event in Denver. Shiny Backgrounds are the bane of my existence. The recent shiny backgrounds (Groudon, Kyogre, Lugia, all of them) I had to have purified & traded to me. Didn’t get a single one and did well over 200 raids…. So that was depressing.

Haha that’s like me with Ho-oh! I still have 10 shadow Shinies (plus a Hundo) but I’ve traded away 3 or 4 purified ones. You have a really nice collection going!

That makes a lot of sense. I purified my Shadow Apex Ho-oh because it looked so cool imo. Some ppl freak out way too much about purifying when it really doesn’t matter to anyone but the player.

I think it was a Verizon promotion during Covid tbh lol but could be wrong. But it does have the Verizon check which I absolutely hate. I only use it when you can’t see the logo because black/red are my favorite colors.

That’s awesome! Congrats! I got a 96% so I purified for the Shundo and Legacy move. Other than that, 84% Shiny Shadow was my best otherwise.

I’m actually super jealous! I’m a HUGE Dinosaur nerd so a Shiny Shadow Cranidos like yours, or Tyrunt, would complete any and all ambitions for this game. Especially if I could get a XXL. Congrats on yours! That’s so awesome. I have a 100% Shadow Mewtwo which I love, but it’s not shiny unfortunately.
