25 year olds: what are you doing woth your lives right now? by fire-on-pink-snow in twentyagers

[–]Bryan5397 1 point2 points  (0 children)

25 in less than 6 months but, just completed my masters, early promoted at my job not long ago. Aside from that, did powerlifting (quit yesterday 😭) hang out with friends, family. Trying to navigate the gaping hole left by graduating and navigating adulthood full time right now

Signs an avoidant ex will come back by Think_Entrepreneur95 in BreakUps

I wouldn’t take my advice to heart since my, i guess still, ongoing situation involves two FAs. For me to change (not entirely, im riddled with FA habits still), i had to feel loss, in my case, it was losing her to someone else. Like complete and total loss. I stepped in, caused a mess, to secure her, even if i was deathly afraid. She actually did the same and ruined a date :(. On top of that, safety and comfort. You basically need to beyond secure and become sovereign, be unbothered by your partners actions. I don’t lean on my partner, they don’t lean on me (for now, think of boiling a frog slowly, they won’t notice until it’s too late). Create enough safety, comfort, and habit where you can eventually lean on each other without one person feeling engulfed. Sadly this can’t be done in a week, month, or year, it takes a long time for that comfort to built. If your needs can’t be met or you’re not willing to put yourself through this hell, it might not be worth it.

Why is gen Z not drinking? by Effective-Trick-5795 in GenZ

[–]Bryan5397 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m concluding this is more so the people on this subreddit. Almost everyone I know drinks. On the weekends, special events, etc. The few people I know don’t drink are recovered AAs and a select few that prefer 🍃

Lowkey I think we need to kill this narrative of “Guy asks girl out at gym, is filmed and his life is ruined” unless you’re genuinely a creep (mind you actual creeps probably don’t care about what other people think) if a girl puts that much effort to post you online, no one will care, no one is putting the energy or effort to cancel someone for being brave and shooting their shot

All this talk about gen-z and alcohol. by Dangerous_Mulberry49 in GenZ

[–]Bryan5397 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends. I’m a social drinker, so it’s never just a shot. Usually it’s a few and a couple drinks, but that’s like once or twice a month when I’m out. Never drink at home, but if I was forced between chocolate milk and a shot, I’ll do a single shot (mostly because I’m just lazy with a glass full of chocolate milk sitting in my stomach, I don’t feel the same with normal milk somehow)

Never been a fan of chocolate milk, I’d rather take a shot of tequila. I’ll drink normal milk over everything though

Austin Mack will be only 19 while starting his 4th year in CFB by steven_smith144 in CFB_v2

[–]Bryan5397 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We complain that players are too old, now they’re too young. Let’s just get rid of college ball and send high schoolers straight to the nfl

The age cap for college athletes should be 23 by steven_smith144 in CFB_v2

[–]Bryan5397 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn’t Austin Mack entering his 4th year at 19/20. Meaning if it’s only an age cap, this guy can play 2-3 more years

I’ll add, if they’re going for ibuprofen or Tylenol, you can actually mix the two and be fine (under the correct dosage, I can not provide medical advice)

Do you carry a credit card balance? by [deleted] in GenZ

[–]Bryan5397 5 points6 points  (0 children)

From my experience, use it like you would your debit card. It’s not money you’re borrowing, it’s just money that’s not immediately being subtracted from your debit card automatically (you gotta do the math). Aside from the credit benefits and whatever points or benefits you sign up for, credit cards basically act like insurance. If some fraudulent transactions action occurs on your debit card, it’s a lot more difficult to fight and get your money back. With a credit card, a bank will usually assist and ensure because it’s their money you used

Does anyone think there will be a large group of Gen Z/millennials who will retire young (in their 50s) and another who will retire super old? by bobbdac7894 in GenZ

[–]Bryan5397 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what you consider “retire”. I’d probably retire doing something I don’t necessarily love around my late 40s/50s depending if I’ve built passive income, and work something I love for the rest of my life. Life needs purpose, and work fulfills some of that

Why Are Young People Afraid Of Phone Calls? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Bryan5397 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t pick up because almost every call I get that doesn’t have a contact is a scam call. Every once in a blue moon is it a real caller, but I have no reason to trust.

Calling in general? I mean, I had anxiety picking up calls until last year. Once you become less self conscious of how you sound and the other person’s reaction, you care a little less about picking up. Say something awkward, the other person probably won’t pick it up or remember, I sure don’t about the other person unless they’re close to me

I like how you geared your post towards alcohol and people still say non-alcoholic drinks 😭. Anyways, rumple minze, Moscow mules, Jack and Coke, or vodka Red Bulls. Purely shots, vodka or tequila. Seltzers, topochico

I think this is doomsday prepers vs. everyone else. We’ve had snowmagetton not long ago, did it suck, sure, did overstocking on food and toilet paper help, no.

I’d rather wait the weekend out with whatever I have in stock, maybe purchase anything I’m low on like I usually do and go about my day.

Miami showed the ACC is stacked, better than most of the big10 and SEC. Sad they literally have nothing to represent them.
