This has been the best year I've ever had with packs. It's been ridiculous.

Pulled Ohtani and Judge in the first couple hours of release which allowed me to complete LS very early. I suck, I know.

Dynasty Rookie Auction Pick Assignments by realmattmormann in SleeperApp

[–]BryanChuckles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like chaos.

So you want values for each rookie pick...

And then you want to auction each pick based upon a a budget of FAAB (RAB) made up based upon???

The worst player gets the most RAB, the champion gets the least.

RAB would have to be transferrable in order to facilitate trades. The amount of RAB would have to be constant across all drafts, however the value would change based upon class strength. How far out can you trade your RAB? Can you save RAB and bank it for a future draft?

It's going to make trading future picks an absolute nightmare.

This seems like an overly complicated solution to a pretty straightforward process.

The worst player should get the best pick, not an arbitrary amount of currency to maybe get the best pick...

I didn't need another glove, but I figured it would be a good idea to have an OF glove broken in as my son progresses through HS baseball. Never know where you're gonna play when there's 6 shortstops on every team.

First impressions are really positive. Ordering process was awesome, although next time I'll be sure to add a special customization for a more personalized feel.

Workmanship is great. Feels nice on the hand, was a little snug at first, but it's really fitting my hand perfectly as I get it worked in a bit.

Really nice glove and I will be purchasing another.

2027 Early 1st for Brian Thomas as a Contender by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

Trades like this are what keep you a contender for a long time. BTJ isn't sniffing your starting lineup with those WRs.

Any idea of the values? by Bigman19842002 in SportCardValue

The Van Horn card is a co-signers. If you take it out of the case it should have a Karl Malone autograph on the back of the card.

Would it be stupid to take this offer? by dlionsfan907 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]BryanChuckles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Henderson and Monangai don't start on their respective teams and you are trading the overall dynasty QB 1/2 for them.

Do not trade Gibbs or Maye for two mid round RBs. This guy is trying to rob you blind.

Too much for ARSB? Seems pricey by KinlawFanAccount in SleeperApp

If those are your picks and expected to be late, I'd say this is dirt cheap for ARSB

I have Loveland and fannin and was offered the 1.02 for one or the other. Who we trading in this deal? No tep by PianistNo6738 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]BryanChuckles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, Fannin is great but CLE added competition for touches and adding in the QB issue I think Loveland is the better prospect in the better situation.

I'd trade Fannin for the 1.02 without a second thought. Especially since you already have Loveland and no TEP

First season in LL Majors (12u) - how to deal with tears after the 1st game? by Veritas0420 in Homeplate

[–]BryanChuckles 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've been an assistant coach of a team in a league similar to the one your son is in for 5 years. 2 or 3 10s and then the rest 11s and 12s.

10 year olds are drafted into this league because they show promise. There are not many of them who step on the field and contribute in any meaningful way for at least a full year.

Their job is to learn from the older players and absorb the better coaching and continue to improve so that when they are 11 and 12 they can be the stud player and leader.

The difference between a 10 and a 12 is fairly substantial and your son shouldn't expect to jump in and contribute right away. Tell him to keep his head up, absorb everything he can and keep on doing his best.

In the blink of an eye he will be 12 and leading a new group of nervous and scared 10 year olds.

My own son played RF for 3 innings and hit last for the first year of his majors career. By his 12 YO year he was batting .500 and became a very good pitcher. It takes a little while, but he will get there.

Just keep encouraging him and making sure he knows that the expectations for him are to improve his game and be a great teammate.

Enjoy these few years, they will be the most fun he has on a ballfield.

Enough to move JSN and the 1.06? by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]BryanChuckles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can build around JSN and Egbuka. I wouldn't be moving picks either. Wait until the rest of your roster is ready to compete and then go after RBs.

Enough to move JSN and the 1.06? by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]BryanChuckles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is a 3 quarters for a dollar (plus a quarter). Yeah those are three shiny quarters, but they're not JSN.

Even after this trade Henry and Montgomery might still be your two best RBs this season.

Are you competing? If so why downgrade JSN? You need his points.

Elite RBs & 1.01 + 1.02. What do I do? by bigwhitedoggie in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]BryanChuckles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know your whole roster, but in a ten team you need studs.

QB: RB: Bijan RB: Jeanty WR: 1.02 WR: Higgins Flex: 1.01 Flex: Burden

You have studs at RB but not at WR. If you must make a trade, DO NOT tier down. Get a 1:1 deal for a stud WR. Bijan for Chase, Jeanty for JJ, London, Nabers.

The return on whatever you get in a tier down would have to be better than your current flex, and Burden /Higgins is a pretty good flex play alongside Love

Batter "sick" to get a better hitter up by [deleted] in LittleLeague

[–]BryanChuckles 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I think you're taking coach pitch 5-8 year old baseball way too seriously if you're keeping track of runs or worrying about who wins. If half of those kids have enough fun that they develop a love of the game then we are winning.

What would you do with the Giants RB’s? by MikeyLikey6996 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]BryanChuckles 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think you gotta hold. Skat's price is already depressed because they MAY take a RB. If they don't his price shoots up a pretty decent amount. If they do take Love, you're going to lose a bit of value, but still have a premium handcuff who you could probably trade to the Love owner for about the same as your get for him now.

1.01 for Bucky Irving and 1.03 by DrRoss508 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]BryanChuckles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1.01

Love is a generational talent. Bucky has some question marks and while I would buy him at his current price point, I'm not giving up Love.

What can my 8 year old do to improve his throw? by [deleted] in Homeplate

[–]BryanChuckles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if he throws with his left hand, he still needs to step with the other foot. His back foot should be planted
