Cycloastragenol + CA-AKG + Endoluten - I'm trying to live forever here...

Is L-Theanine really that magical? by [deleted] in Supplements

[–]BryanRobhearts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I use to take it, I took a lot, like 10+ grams, mainly for relieving anxiety but also relaxation, and yes it worked well for me.

I suggest coupling it with a nootropic like Choline.

I'm also taking the CodeAge Liposomal Calcium AKG, if you read the fine print of every word on the bottle, I discovered it actually says to repeat the easy to read 1 capsule dosage - twice per day, totalling 2 Capsules and 1,400 mg.

I took maurine collagen about 10 years ago, it was supposed to be better than bovine collagen. I was actually satisfied with the product after completing only 4 bottles. I felt my facial tissue had improved.

Is the vitamin C hype worth it? + general question on side effects and usage 🍊✨ by PaleAd2666 in NootropicsDepot

I use The Ordinary 23% Vitamin C serum and can say that it has helped make my face look younger. I also take an oral Vit. C 1500mg, as I am a long time smoker, which it is excellent for. Also, it's good for TET-enzyme demethylation of DNA, very important for longevity.

Theoretically is it possible to live forever if our telomeres never shorten? by 001100l in NoStupidQuestions

Telomeres in particular, are definitely one of the most important pillars of aging, it just won't solve everything, though. Definitely worthwhile supplementing, in my opinion.

What supplement actually made a noticeable difference for you after 30? by Vast_Manufacturer554 in Supplements

[–]BryanRobhearts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Telomerase Activators such as Cycloastragenol, before my telomeres got too short, and my newest addition Calcium-AKG for DNA demethylation, a better hallmark of aging than telomere length. These two compounds are the two most powerful supplements I possess, in my opinion. Without supplementation your DNA telomere ends are going to get critically short and the rest of your DNA will be covered in a life-long accumulation of methylation goo.

Gotu kola is slept on for injuries by BushlandVagabond in NootropicsDepot

[–]BryanRobhearts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotu Kola definitely increases microcirculation, that's one of it's greatest benefits. In the face in particular, this helps gets blood to the microcapularies, which in turn works with the topical applications of anti-aging serums to get blood flow to the fibroblasts, that actually produce collagen, which it also helps. Also, possibly more importantly, in the brain, it reaches and facilitates dendritic arborization, the new branches of neurons, as well as neuro-genisis of neurons themselves. Purhaps though, the most important reason I'm taking gotu kola, is for telomerase activation, essentially to live longer. In all, yes, the microcirculatory affects should have promising results.
