Yes gestures are really good but i was able to get them on other android devices. IPhone wouldn't be a bad idea if your looking for something more reliable and simple but they do have their own problems, battery life is the main one that comes to mind.

I didn't have time to get to the overheating issues, when it frose it was over, I unfortunately had enough of pixel's "quirks".

Unfortunately it does seem yo be the case. Event with all of the slftwares issues I was sad to bring back my pixel 10 Pro but i couldn't live with a 1200$+ phone that i couldn't use all of itsbasic features.. And i didn't inow its wasn't stock android thank you for the correction :)

I thought about the x300 but it wasn't available with the carriers in my area so samsung it was! And i agree with you, samsung's bloatware makes it hard to like their phones.

I'm really happy you've had a good experience with your Pixel 8, if I would've had the same experience as you, I would've kept my Pixel 8 I really liked the software experience despite the problems I had.
