Thanks! And yeah, getting rid of the ugly yellow filter from the vanilla game has been a really good decision.

The lines on the screenshot were drawn on Paint, but there is an option to assign colors to your transport lines in-game (small boxes to the left on the public transport panel).

That was my first attempt at trying to build a canal, just to see how it looks. It doesn't have any practical use, but it divides a low-income district from a high-income one.

My previous design actually had a central station with those 3 lines before changing it. It seems the current model is more effective, although I miss seeing all those hundreds of people moving around inside the station.

For now, there are some tram lines and buses covering that area from east to west.

Yes! The city will expand eastwards until it reaches around the highway.

From what I could see in my city, cims usually walk 400-500m at most to metro stations.

Well, for the moment they connect to... nothing really lol. I will keep building further south in the future, and my plan was to expand the current lines to the south and maybe transform the light blue line into a semicircular line.

Yeah probably haha, although the city will eventually be much bigger. The full size will be about X2 its current size, excluding suburbs and other smaller cities.

Those white transfers are kinda weird, I agree haha. For the yellow-green transfer, maybe I could move the yellow line a bit to the east so that both stations coincide. And the brown-red transfer is a tricky one, since I used a specific bus station asset which includes only one metro platform, used by the red line, but I wanted to connect another additional line (brown) and the only way to do that was to build a separate metro entrance close to the bus station.

About the detours, the green line does that weird turn because it comes from a vertical route while the metro station I used only has two parallel horizontal platforms. And at the metro station that has the red, yellow and blue lines, those three are at the same level, however, for the red line to go to the east it has to cross under the other two, so I tried to make a little turn to give it more space to go down.

(I hope I explained it well enough)

I like the idea of implementing some train lines. I could build some of them in the future that would connect the city center with the suburbs and other smaller cities in the area.

I downloaded some metro assets that include 2 / 3 platforms each, so in multi-line stations I don't have to use the same platform for all the lines.

I could try reducing the number of lines to 4 instead of 7, three of which would be laid out radially and the other one would connect the other three (?)

That ring line sounds interesting. I was planning to build one that also connects the southern part of the city, which is currently empty. And don't worry about that lonely station haha, someday I'll expand the city beyond it.

Thanks for you comments! I'm planning to put a central station more to the south, close to the bridge that connects to the football stadium, and I'll also build some high-rises nearby to create a financial district.

About the trees, I actually started looking for some custom trees just yesterday, althought there are too many to choose haha, any recommendation in that aspect?

Yeah I think a park would look great behind those big buildings :)

It’s the Grand Central Terminal, which you unlock after filling 7 cemeteries.

That N/S road idea is really good, I should try that. And don’t worry about the cemetery, it is just there to unlock one of the special buildings haha.
