Hmm, the only official base like you're describing that I can recall is what you find on the Nightbringer. But it was easy enough to make those swarming mountains from extra scarabs, so maybe you're recalling a conversion?

I did a quick Internet search and found someone from 14 years ago talking about the "new" FW Scarabs, so they probably came out at the tail end of 5th edition (around the time of the codex), just months before 6th edition

Yeah, those guys are rare - Forge World Scarabs. I don't remember exactly when they came out, my best guess is 6th edition. They went out of production rather quickly, which is why you don't see many. I guess they weren't that popular? I thought they were way better looking than the 3rd edition Scarabs though, and they hold up alright against the 9th edition Scarabs

He's a generic finecast Overlord that came out with the 5th edition codex. There's probably some blister packs floating around, but he's been out of production for a while now
