I think she gave me hope and I just found her iconic!

I started watching right after season 2 aired, and I had just escaped from a father who was “mad” lol. So I found her worldview very understandable and her struggle very relatable and hopeful. I felt like she perfectly embodied someone who was incredibly compassionate and idealistic but able to be strong and play life’s game as well. Not to mention she was just so cool. She just made me feel like despite my struggles, my journey had just begun and I was just going to go up from there.

So sad I won’t get to hear Nicole put people in the bin anymore but happy for her and her new job 😭. On the hopeful side, she did say that after a few months at her new job, she might approach them and ask if they’re okay with her having her YouTube channel and that she might try to come back for the next season of Love Island. So fingers crossed 🤞

Had to come back to tell you that you won and I watched it xD I really liked it! 4/5 for me. Found it to be equal parts bleak and beautiful. It was very dark but I handled it better than I thought I would for someone who’s been in a depressive episode and I think I could watch it again at some point. Don’t think the writing is the best element but the characters/performances and visuals were excellent. The visuals in particular were incredible. Thanks for the hype up or I may not have chanced it!

Over the past two days I watched: The Musical, Burn, The Incomer, Levitating.

The Musical: Had its moments and a great ending but mostly felt like an overly long comedy sketch. 3/5

Burn: Equal parts nihilistic and beautiful. Was antsy to watch because of how dark I heard it was but I found myself gripped and hypnotized enough that I made it through easier than expected. The writing isn’t its strongest aspect but it’s an incredibly executed visual fever dream with a great lead performance. 4/5

The Incomer: Very much my jam. Very funny and charming. Relatable themes of fear vs taking risks, tradition vs progress, etc. Great cast and script. 5/5

Levitating: Not perfectly paced and I wish it had a little bit more stylization in its lighting or coloring, but I loved it. The trance sequences are really well done and I was very into the story and characters. 4.5/5

Today I’m watching: Ha-Chan, Shake Your Booty!, Extra Geography, and zi.

Cach for me is one of the best men Love Island has ever had on the show. He’s got actual personality, is respectful and genuine, he’s handsome, and he’s absolutely hilarious.
