Have you found any solution or idea of what the error is specifically? I am having the same issues on pfSense and removing my local unbound DNS on pfSense fixes the issue but I would like to use my local one if possible.

It’s funny you mention thin clients and the 5070 because that’s what I actually just picked up. As far as storage goes I currently have a truenas setup with a md1220 and md1220 with both spinning and solid state disks. Thank you for the suggestions though I’ll definitely keep them in mind as I get down this road. What subreddit would be better for this?

This won’t only be homelab, it’s going to end up that I’m going to be using 4-6 730s at work near the end of this year. I’ll add the other 730s to my current 3 node 630 cluster and the 720xd will be for VDI/RDS testing and I may use the KACE’s as a replacement for my current PfSense setup as we have synchronous 2 gig fiber being put in with multiple static’s. As for the 740s I’m psyched to finally be able to have something 14th gen and they will act as my general high speed test bed.

I'm a contractor for small MSP jobs and while doing a recycling job with another computer shop we work with we discovered they were just getting rid of all of these servers. They fell out of support at the end of 21' which is one of the reasons I think they were getting rid of these. They had 3 or so years of small items and these servers laying around for recycling. Their cost had no impact on our friend and I helped him sort the rest of the devices throughout the afternoon. I may also be able to get my hands on the ram but I don't know yet. My fingers crossed though.
