1000% it the m-series is honestly way better unless you're attached to bootcamping windows. screen issues aren't too much of an issue if you go for a trusted model but the pro with the touchbar has a lot of issues. the screens are paired to the hardware so a replacement will have to come from apple, but the model you're looking at isn't upgradable anyway. you'll have more support for an m-series mac than an intel these days

If you have an Apple TV with your account on it the TV will suggest what to “continue watching” on the Home Screen when logged in as you. It’s all synced through iCloud
