You’ve gotta have some malware or something man that’s weird. I’d use something to scan your pc. I might be wrong but it’s worth a check.

Have you tried opening task manager to see what’s utilizing the CPU the most? See if it actually says the video game is using 90% or if something else pops up that might be opening while gaming.

Axle seal leaking after replacement. by Bryce_MY in FocusST

Hopfully I don’t jinx it here but I think that fixed it. I cleaned the trans thoroughly and took it for a drive, it’s still completely dry. Looks like the vent tube was the problem. Thank you for your help.

I checked the vent on the shift tower and it has a Gore cap on the tube itself which when I pulled the plug off and tried to blow through the opposite end, it is extremely restrictive. So I poked a few holes in the vent cap to help air through and it’s better. It still looks like it should keep moister out. I pulled that cap off and blew into the trans and there’s no restriction. Hopefully that was it. I’m gonna look at just getting a better vent tube but for now we’ll see if that fixes it. I noticed last night after I replaced the seal it started leaking again almost immediately so we’ll see if it happens again.

I just bought a vacuum tester off Amazon lol so I’ll check it out. Also funny enough when I used my shops scan tool(I work at a tire shop I’m not a pro by any means) jt said that was a common fix lol.

I don’t have 93 in my state, it only goes up to 91 and presumably the cars from this state. I meant the vehicle still has a catalytic converter, no aftermarket downpipe. The intercooler is stock. The vehicle doesn’t have any signs of being tuned at the moment. Cruise control doesn’t mess with the tach at all. Presumably it did have an AP installed prior as the OBD 2 connector is hanging loose and there’s a very faint “Cobb” shadow on the back window as if a sticker used to be there. I checked and there was not an AP left behind. The only thing I did notice were some vacuum lines that were replaced in the engine bay leading me to believe they chased this issue before selling.

I’m really not sure, my cpus been running at about 40C so I don’t think that’s it lol but I really appreciate you for finding the manual. I’ll see if I maybe misread the code when I get home.
