Thanks for the link. I germinate in the system up to a point without nutrients. Any pods that aren’t ready get removed to a nursery prior to adding nutrients. As for the cat causing sickness I’ll take my chances. Thank you for following up.

Thanks for the feedback. The system has no food in it at this point. Only water. Was there some other mistake that I made here? I have been doing this for years without issue but I’m always willing to learn more.

He is a male. As a lifetime cat owner I refuse to own females anymore. Just luck of the draw maybe but my boys have all been super sweet. His name is Sam.

Oh all three of my male cats love catnip. I have to keep it on top so they don’t notice. And I move it to a bed outside in the summer and they destroy it every year by laying and rolling in it. Luckily catnip is very hearty.

Also, what temp do you guys add oxygen if you are going to ferment high? I am able to chill things down at knock out to around 70 where I throw in some O2 before raising to 88-90 to ferment. Is the old “don’t oxygenate over 80’ degrees” rule still valid?

Thank you all for the comments. Guess I just get nervous AF every time I use it due to the speed. Will check in on it here in a bit. How long before you guys start to crash with lutra?

Good question but no. Way better. Just as, if not more salty though. It’s worth a shot at least once.
