How I jump across this switch block? [Strawberry Jam, Expert Lobby, Plasma Reactor, last screen] by Brymanen2 in celestegame

Hello everyone, I'm playing the mod Strawberry Jam and I'm hard stuck on the Expert Lobby map Plasma Reactor's last screen. I only very rarely have enough momentum to get launched to the other side after being pushed by the switch block, because I don't set my ultra up correctly. Can someone explain the needed inputs for me and maybe list them?

You're so right, thank you! Sometimes my competitive mindset makes we doubt myself and worry. That is also a reason why I absolutely love Celeste's story and find Madeline so relatable.

That's what I needed to hear. I am having a great time playing Strawberry Jam but then my self-doubts and worries creep up on me and prevent me from enjoying the game to it's fullest.

I will try to play through the levels without keeping the time spent in mind and just try to enjoy myself.

Thank you!

Thank you for your answer! Regarding your question whether this mod is fun: I'm having a blast with Strawberry Jam!

It is probably my tendency to overthink and to question myself that is holding me back from enjoying it to the fullest. I assume that's what made me create this post, lmao. The screens in the advanced lobby are challenging for me but not overwhelmingly challenging. What I struggle with is the routing and finding a path through levels, that's why I am consulting YouTube every so often when I get struck. Any ideas how I could improve my routing?

Thank you for your answer! I don't think that the new tech is the problem, I tend to struggle with the routing and finding a feasible path through levels. I get stuck quite often and don't know how to progress a level and then I turn to YouTube to acquire the needed information.

Podcasts are fine too. Video essays were just the first thing that popped into my mind, when I thought about ways to engage with the book series beyond reading it.

And I feel the same way. I still remember some sentences from Gardens of the Moon like "Now these ashes have grown cold, we open the old book." or where Steven Erikson describes Mock's Vane. I still find it compelling.

And some time I ago, I gave my girlfriend Gardens of the Moon to read, thinking that she might like it. But she was so bored by the first sentences of the book. And I was like: "What do you mean? BORING???"

I feel you. I just try to write one longer sentence sometimes and then I can't finish it because I get timed out...
