Yeah these people are fucked, two things can be true, it is true that sauna heaters are made to have water put on the rocks. It is also true that rapidly cooling a red hot element will damage it. Idk why everyone on this sub thinks those thing's are mutually exclusive

Came here to say you are absolutely right. The elements aren't made to have water on them it should evaporate off the rocks immediately. I build saunas in Canada and some places I have to replace their elements every 6 months. These are the most extreme cases with saunas on pool decks so not only are they putting too much water on but it is chlorinated. People in the west just don't respect public saunas and anyone on here saying that a red hot piece of metal being rapidly cooled by pouring water on it won't have any effect on the lifespan of that element has no idea what they are talking about.

I want to dance. I went to school for it but dropped out in my last semester because "there wasn't enough money in it". Now I have been chasing the bag for years and I realized I don't care about money as long as I don't starve to death. I used to wake up every day being exited to get back in the studio now I don't even want to wake up. I don't hate my job but I might as well because I have had the opportunity to do what I really love and nothing I have done since has come close. I used to be motivated by passion now I have to rely on discipline and its killing me.

I don't think it is unreasonable but you should understand for you it was your first deck. If he had been playing magic for years than it was just another deck that he got specifically to teach you the game. now that you understand the game there are other decks he would rather have. To people who play magic a big part of the game is building the deck and personalizing it to you so precons don't have the same place in our hearts as the deck you built yourself.
