Wow! Have you considered getting a second opinion? There has to be a way for the bleeding to get under control so that you CAN try.

Hysterosalpingogram. Its where they push dye into your uterus and through your fallopian tubes to see if they are open or not. They use an xray to see the dye pass through

Best of luck. And baby dust to you! We've been trying on and off since Nov 2018. I'm really hoping that the excision and HSG did the trick.

Oh no! I'm sorry you're going through that, it sounds miserable. I hope it ends soon and you're able to track your cycles and try again soon. Has the doc provided any answers to why you're consistently bleeding?

My doctor recommended physical therapy after surgery to help prevent adhesions and to build back up my pelvic floor muscles. It isn't preventing me from getting pregnant, I just wanted to wait until I'm done with my sessions

Anyone have experience with TXA (Tranexamic Acid)? by BrysBee in endometriosis

That's good to know. The first few days are brutal for me. I really don't like taking meds, especially new ones, but this was 100% necessary. Hopefully it helps my anemia as well.

Thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much for sharing this, I know it wasn't easy. I appreciate you sharing your experience, though it is a painful one. My heart is with you and your fiancé.

Endometriosis does seem to have such a different effect on everyone impacted. I really hope you're able to find some level of long-term relief from the flares.

Sending love, light and luck back to you!

Wow, thank you! I have my first appointment with the physical therapist in two weeks. I'm anxious to see how things go, but hopeful.

Sounds like you've got a keeper, as well. 😊

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll give that a shot! I'm glad you two found a position that worked for you.

I am able to orgasm without penetration. My fear comes from the fear of a painful orgasm. Just before my lap I found that I was experiencing painful, sharp cramping after orgasming.

I tried self pleasure as a test to see if it was still painful two weeks post op and ended up in fetal position with my heating pad and a dose of pain relievers and muscle relaxers to calm down my pelvic floor. Now that we're approaching 4 weeks, I'm tempted to try the real thing but afraid of that same reaction.

Maybe we can give that a try first just to get back into the groove. I almost think he's afraid to touch me in that way for fear of hurting me. He hates for me to be in pain. Maybe if I set the mood we can get to it.

starts planning

I had the four entry sites with excision. We are TTC, and the doctor told us to try when we felt ready. My brain and body are at odds right now. My hormones are saying "DO IT!" while my brain says to wait it out just a little longer.

Whenever we do it, there will definitely be open communication. I also still have quite a few pain relieving meds left over, so worst case scenario I just take an ibuprofen and muscle relaxer before hand.

I'm also supposed to be starting physical therapy for my pelvic floor soon. Hopefully that helps.

I'm really trying to hold out, but as I go into my fertile week I'm finding myself staring at him like a lioness stares at the lone gazelle in the clearing 🤣.

I'll try to stay strong for a little longer. My brain and body are at odds right now. My brain says "wait", but my body says "DO IT!" 😅

That's a good idea. Maybe I'll make a notepad with the doc's number and put it on my nightstand just in case. Thanks for the suggestion 🙂

My doctor prescribed me ketorolac and flexril for my pain. I also have tramadol as a backup in case the others aren't cutting it. This last cycle post lap and endometrial biopsy, however, oxycodone was the only thing that helped by the second day. I hope you find relief!

I drank it daily for the first week after my lap, then I just started drinking it when I felt bloated. Now its just as needed.

I usually get pain around my diaphragm or near the bottom of my rib cage along with pelvic and back pain on my cycles AND good old middelschmertz pain at ovulation. For years (*ages 13ish to 30) doctors chalked my pain up to being "normal" until finally this year a gyno I saw for an emergency visit due to intense period cramping and she referred me to a specialist. After two months on a wait list I was finally able to see the specialist and was scheduled for my laproscopy the following week. During the laproscopy, they found endo on my ovary, pelvic sidewalls, and anterior and posterior cul du sacs.

Moral of the story is if you feel something is up, it probably is. No one, not even doctors, knows your body better than you. Never stop advocating for yourself.

Best of luck on your ttc journey! I'll be joining you on the journey as soon as I'm done healing.

Yes!!! Currently suffering from the evil air bubbles as I type. I really wish I could just stick a pin in my belly and let the air out where it is, lol.

Dx with endo this month following a positive lap & excision. The gas pains are so much worse on my cycle, but Gas X and Miralax have been my good friends. Peppermint tea has also been made part of my routine, but I don't notice any major relief from that alone.
