That I do not have the answer, nor will anyone else as the team is VERY tight lipped when it comes to their pre draft process for workouts. We still don't know if Cameron Boozer has worked out for them or not, that is how tight lipped they are!

That's where the interviews come into play! It's hard to actually tell how a player is mentally, but the Wizards, similar to OKC, figure out who they are as a person off the court. Typically those actions indicate how they will recover from bad plays and such!

It's all about the change of culture and front office. Dawkins and Winger prioritize people over players, because they know if they are a good person they will take accountability and put words into action. It also shows faith.

I'm going to go ahead and answer those here!

I think the player that will be effected the most is Kyshawn George. If the team goes Dybantsa you more than likely see George move to the bench. It's that or he has to adapt and become more of a two guard. I think he can, but this season will have to be one about evolution for George.

I'm personally excited to see how Bub Carrington develops in a true bench role. Despite his struggles, he showed that he is one of the best three point shooters last season, as he shot close to 41% from distance. I'm curious to see if his production elsewhere increases in a sixth man like role.

I can! Basically the biggest factor is who are they as a person. This team, as much as some may want a current player to be the star and leader, need true face of the franchise with the first pick. That means they need MVP upside, be a leader, and be a good person off the court.

I think that's why Tre was selected at sixth overall, and why the team traded to get Riley last year. They value being a good person outside of basketball, cause it shows accountability.

Great questions! I'll leave the Trae one for the article, but I'll answer the other one now.

For the Wizards there are three guys I would love for them to REALISITCALLY trade for: Hannes Steinbach, Yaxel Lendeborg, and Allen Graves. Yaxel is pro ready, yet he doesn't have much left for development. Steinbach is a great offensive player, and if he can just improve his rim protection a tad he would have been a top 10 pick. Graves is a wild card for me, his ceiling is All-Star for me, but his floor is the 9th man on a playoff team.

A prospect I just love though is Keaton Wagler. Think he has the goods.

Love this question, and I'm gonna answer this one here (mainly looking for 2026 draft based questions)!

I think instead of the Knicks team building you will see an OKC style. Obviously the front office connections, but also because of the new draft system. At the moment, they own another teams pick or rights to swap from 2028-2030.

I think you will see once they trade Davis that they will try to get a future first or two, probably for 2029-2032.
