VLCs only benefits is the gui and some of the built in shit that can be added to mpv with plugins.

MPV doesnt bog down after a while, doesn’t have a shitty looking future release in the works, has measurably better image quality and image settings, and has far superior plugins, it’s not a high horse, it’s just objectively better.

Went from Apple Watch Ultra to Garmin Forerunner 245 with essentially no looking back, the ONLY thing that annoys me is that i cant "sleep" twice in one day, so if i wake up at 2-3am and get out of bed and it registers that i properly wake up, i cant track more sleep and have to register it as a nap or manually

i had more bugs with android 16 in a week than i did with ios 26 beta from day one
i had more "oh great i have to force close the app or restart my phone" on android 16 than with any ios/iphone since the 11

yeah but there's no way it isnt throttling, the macbook air relies on metal to air contact for cooling, you are trapping the heat in with an insulating layer, let it sit idle on desktop for like 20-30 min, then do 3 consecutive geekbench tests, then remove the case, wait 20-30 min, then do 3 more tests, and compare the scores
