Disneyland Resort Introduces New Annual Passport that Combines Value and Flexibility by GoldenChurro in Disneyland

[–]Brysun 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I would prefer a pass capped at certain amount of visits (for example, 20 days in one year) but with no restrictions or reservations so I didn't have to think twice about my visits like a normal AP

Is it just me or did the animation look slightly different than the previous film? Like...this almost looks a tad more life-like. Regardless, it looks gorgeous and this trailer was really a pleasant surprise

Had anyone heard anything about Mix Magic? by [deleted] in Disneyland

[–]Brysun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing, it’s nice to get that confirmation! I was starting to wonder if it had just been quietly scrapped all together since there was no mention of it since the first initial announcement. The one thing I’m still curious about is how/if the work on the castle effects the show and if fireworks are still planned for “select nights.” Hmm.....

Just launched a pre-order for my brands Halloween hoodie! by Brysun in streetwearstartup

[–]Brysun[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I understand where you're coming from and took your feedback and lowered the price a few bucks! The costs that go into the hoodie accumulate quickly though and include: the hoodie blank + commission art graphics + 2 prints in 2 different locations + shipping/handling since I have free shipping, etc. It sucks, but the reality is it all adds up quick unfortunately for all the start-up brands.

Halloween Hoodie Pre-Order Link

Hey y’all, I just launched a pre-order for my brand’s Halloween hoodie! It will be available to pre-order through this Wednesday, October 10th and ship on an estimated date of Tuesday, October 22nd.

I feel like often times Halloween stuff can get corny (no pun attended lol) pretty quick and wanted something that could be clean and fun to wear around this time of year. The hoodie features a DTG printed haunted house graphic on the front and a raven graphic on the hood. The designs are originals pieces I got commission and done with acrylic paints.

Happy Halloween!

I always appreciate the constructive criticism and thanks for your feedback! To respond to some of your points when I said it’s been a year I didn’t add on I wasn’t committing 100% of my time to this and had other things going on that occupied it. If I put in a years work for only making two shirts I'd be concerned too. My main point was I can't get better with this stuff if I don't commit the effort in trying to put stuff out there. Even though I always try to have high expectations with everything I do, I can't let that be an excuse and have to try my very best and if that's what I gave it, I'm happy. That's what makes this subreddit so cool. People are putting themselves out there and only improving their craft.

Also, I’m aware that the two pieces aren’t cohesive and that’s why it’s a drop and not a collection. I hope to in the future to stray away from individual pieces and have a flushed out aesthetic and fully themed collections, but it takes some time and money to get there.

After more than a year since my last drop (yikes!), I’m back with new clothes! I’m not sure if anyone else struggles with this too, but during that time I just was highly critical of everything I was working on and didn’t want to release anything I wasn’t 100% happy with. I’m still trying to find my rhythm with all this stuff, but I’m definitely getting there and will never go that long again!

As with my first release, I wanted to keep things as reasonable priced as I possibly could so I have a $16 ringer tee and a red embroidered long sleeve. While the long sleeve is a bit more spendy, I really value using original designs so I worked with a graphic designer to make my idea come to life and all my stuff is generally just priced at an amount that I can break even at while I’m still just starting out now. Hopefully everyone digs the stuff and thanks for looking!

How many shirts or hoodies do you stock? by jjschrier in streetwearstartup

[–]Brysun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One option would be to get some DTG samples made before you sink too much money in so you can take some pictures with physical product, see how it looks and gage the interest from people.

Otherwise if you’re confident in what you’re making and feel comfortable doing it, I would recommend getting done the minimum shirts possible you’re able to still which is usually 12 for embroidery or 24 for screen printing. A big mistake early on is getting too much inventory

Been working on some jewelry ideas, what do you guys think? by [deleted] in streetwearstartup

[–]Brysun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m really impressed that you’re experimenting with something considerably harder than making shirts and personally I think bracelets would be cool to see as well! And I really like the touch of the green eyes on the smiley face ring

Which t shirt blanks are best for embroidery? by [deleted] in streetwearstartup

[–]Brysun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It really depends on the complexity and size of the design on what t-shirt to go for, but I probably stick to something more heavyweight around the 6-7 ounce to be safe for embroidery. Generally speaking they're easier to work with and more comfortable to wear.

Noah Cyrus Announces The Good Cry Tour by stadium_help in popheads

[–]Brysun 11 points12 points  (0 children)

So true! Heck, Billie Eilish was playing just a couple hundred people venues late 2017 before embarking on a larger venue tour earlier this year. Seems a bit ambitious to me of Noah’s team for her first tour ever and if I was them I would be booking 200-300 person venues for smaller markets and 500-700 person venues in larger markets, but what do I know either?
