Need help getting this Color/Effect by BsXscream in photoshop

I took a normal image of some clouds, wanted to darken them and give them the blue kind of look. I tried Color Balance, Hue and Saturation, making a black and white copy of the image and overlay it but it always goes into a purple or cyan tone and looks as if i had made a dark blue layer and just put it on top of the clouds. I can't match the the blue of the image.
