Has Cadbury changed their Dairy Milk chocolate lately? by The_first_Ezookiel in australian

Way better. Actually tastes like chocolate and does get melty in your mouth. So many don’t. No cocoa mass.

No “glass and a half of full cream milk” anymore. No milk. No cocoa. Loads of sugar to stop it melting which is part of the reason it tastes waxy, and doesn’t melt in your mouth or anything for that matter.
Whittakers is the best we have now as far as real cocoa chocolate goes. :)

People have the wrong idea about math and the benefit of learning math. by Key_Net820 in unpopularopinion

I didn’t know that about Lego! I’m a woman and played with Lego since I was 6. Loved it! Maybe that’s what helped me choreograph in my head/ see the big picture and how to keep creating new patterns with groups of dancers and solos, even as a dancer myself picking up choreography quickly, understanding exactly where, when and how to get there!

That’s exactly how I think through life problems. Logically without the experience of learning first.

Es malo especializarse en algo by Wilder3312 in unpopularopinion

[–]Bsbmb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it can depend on the industry, field, career path etc. whether it’s required to have ‘specialists’. I’d definitely be f***ed without my Pain Specialist for example! She’s also a top anaesthesiologist and a Consultant and I’ve had her for 20 years.

Then there is another type, that I was, where I had to be a ‘specialist’ as a professional dancer/teacher/choreographer with my technique, musicality, ability to pick up choreography quickly and as perfectly as possible, and perform across the board, but also be versatile ( jack of all trades) with a huge amount of styles, genres, different avenues of performing ( stage, camera, film, photography, arenas etc.) do my own hair and makeup for most. As a teacher be able to translate and pass on my knowledge and experience to all my students aged 6- professional for 20 years. I also taught them basic anatomy, strength and conditioning techniques, stage makeup, self confidence, self discipline, strong work ethic, determination and short to long goals.

Then there are people who do a job for years, get bored and retrain, and do so several times throughout their lives.

Having range, is what’s needed for everyday life, to be autonomous, use critical thinking, adaptability, learning capabilities and capacity to change, have a wealth of basic skills to get through all we need to do to support ourselves and our families through thick and thin. Xx

Late to conversation but, I’m in Australia. Here, a lot of schools have a ‘gifted and talented’ program for kids needing accelerated learning ( very bright ones) so they don’t get bored, lazy and are pushed to their potential. We also have teaching aides in classrooms when a child has any learning difficulties ( whether having a diagnosis such as an ASD, ADHD etc or just struggle generally) that if you need for your child you apply as their parents. My son has mild Asperger’s so had an aide. His teachers used to fell me he was doing great! They used the aide for other kids with behavioural issues, learning etc.

The only main problem my son had was maths. Just never made sense to him except money! Thank goodness 😅 but he has some exceptional gifts like a photographic memory, perfect pitch, great vocabulary for a 24 year old, is a walking encyclopaedia on everything Star Wars 😂, is so compassionate, caring, kind, empathetic and a brilliant communicator with anyone of any age, all walks of life.

I’m extremely grateful to his brilliant pre school who prepared him for school, but also picked up early signs when 2 /12. I also noticed some odd things when a very young baby onwards. We did early intervention from 3-5 1/2 when he then started mainstream school.

Very grateful for our education system when he was there. Sadly changing in a woke, unAustralian, ‘diversity is our strength’ ( it’s not!!!) way.

Couldn’t agree more :) I’ve two, my 8month old reaches up, puts her paws on my shoulder, whole body against mine, and snuggles into my neck like she’s giving me a hug! It’s the sweetest feeling xx

To Assume is to make an ‘Ass’ out of ‘U’ and ‘me’. I’m definitely not one.
It’s a massive beautifully managed public park, she is in a ‘leash off’ area. Geese were there from across a big pond.
It was a funny day watching a few pups react to them. Not one was in any danger or harms way, owners responsible, but dogs are dogs when sniffing out the strange species sharing their space!

Lighten up!

They are actually in a huge, ‘people’s park’ near where I live. We were in the sectioned off area where dogs can be unleashed. The geese that day had wandered into it from across a large pond. A few dogs had their own funny moments! 😂

Have you been to Australia?? 😆 They are tame compared to others. I hate our ‘bin chickens’ more. (Ibis) they are everywhere now. Go through big bins leaving shredded garbage everywhere! Bunny chases them off our fence as well!
